These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vigue.me (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
vigue.me is a personal website that publishes content including articles, projects, and other media. The Site offers free content, an optional email newsletter, and optional paid subscriptions that provide access to protected content and serve as a way to support Aiden Vigue.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Site. By using the Site, you self-represent that you meet this requirement.
By providing your email address to subscribe to my newsletter, you consent to receive periodic email communications from me. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email. I will not share your email address with third parties.
If account creation is required for paid subscriptions, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to notify me promptly of any unauthorized use.
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees and authorize Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan. All fees are stated in US dollars unless otherwise indicated.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to protected content through the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
I generally do not provide refunds for subscription fees already charged. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact me and I will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
I reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. If pricing changes affect your active subscription, I will notify you in advance and the new pricing will apply at your next billing cycle. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
Paid subscribers are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access protected content for their own use. This license is conditioned on your active subscription and compliance with these Terms.

All content on the Site — including text, images, code, graphics, and design — is owned by the Site operator or used with permission and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights to the Site's content.

The Site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
I do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content is accurate, complete, or current.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, regardless of the theory of liability.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, my liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall my total liability exceed the amount you have paid me, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site operator from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
The Site relies on third-party services, including Stripe for payment processing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. I am not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of any third-party service.
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any paid subscription at my discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination for cause (such as a violation of these Terms), you forfeit access to protected content immediately. Upon termination without cause, you will retain access through the end of your current billing period.
You may terminate your use of the Site at any time by ceasing to use it and, if applicable, canceling your subscription.
I may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Site. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes affecting paid subscribers, I will provide notice via email or a prominent notice on the Site.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Indiana. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Site operator regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
